Rushing Wind Biker Fellowship has confirmed the 2012 schedule of ministry events. Please join us for any of the following events:

 

Every FRIDAY in 2012 - Back Yard Bike Night, food and casual fellowship 6:30pm until 9pm (Backyard Burgers, 95 Halton Rd. Greenville, SC). Public welcome

2nd Sunday evening of each month - Small group home fellowship

4th weekend - "Rolling Church" (times and locations will be announced each month). Length of ride and number of stops vary based on date, time, and weather. Public welcome

2010 Litter Pickup

See details below on next clean-up. 


BFC has adopted Highway 80 (Verne Smith Parkway) between Highway 14 and 101.  We will be organizing a litter pickup Saturday (June 19th).  For anyone interested in helping, please meet at the old church @9am.

Gloves, vests, trash bags, and refreshments will be provided....we just need YOU to help keep SC beautiful!!  See ya Saturday!

Greer Mill Church

We are so exciting about our move to the Greer Mill Village. We have decided to change the name of our fellowship to Greer Mill Church. The reasons for this are simple. We want our name to reflect the community in which we plan to be a major part of. It will give us a location identity as well as showing the families in our new community that we are a part of their lives and we are so blessed to be a part of that community. We plan on having our first service on Easter Sunday 4/4/2010. We hope you will join us.

EVENT: Armed Forces Day Parade
WHEN: Saturday May 16 5:00PM (please read staging info below from Barbwire)

If you ride, please make plans to meet up with Barbwire and crew at 3pm. For those who do not ride, come pick a spot downtown and bring your flags to show your support for our great country and those who serve to defend it. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! 
 
STAGING INFO:
We will stage in the Kmart parking lot at 2100 Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville at 3:00 pm with KSU at 3:30. We will ride with flags flying to the parade staging to wait for the start of the parade. The parade starts at 5:00 sharp and will end near the Drive ballpark. I have requested 40 tickets to the game, however we have more than 40 that have committed to the parade, so the tickets will go to the first 40 veterans who registered to ride in the parade that want to go to the game. Even if you dont plan to stay for the game, i suggest you stay for the ceremony prior to the game to honor veterans. They are suppose to have a parachute jump, flyover and more.

Rushing Wind in the Streets U.R.V.
RWCF Greer and Rushing Wind in the Streets are happy to announce the debut of the "Urban Relief Vehicle".  Anyone who has been involved with our street feedings in downtown Greenville have seen Pastor Matt and Cindy's "coffee wagon".  After 4 years of faithful service, it broke down one final time...never to be revived.

While the ministry scrambled to try and replace the wagon, all our plans seemed to be hitting brick walls.  Little did we realize, God had other plans already in the making.  Pastor Jamie spotted on old Red Cross Disaster Relief vehicle listed on Craig's List.  Within 24 hours, God made it possible for Pastor Matt and Cary to make a trip to Oconee County, and return with title in hand and the vehicle.  Two days later, it made it's first appearance in the streets...serving up God's provisions to the needy.

Pastor Matt told me that we still need help to get the vehicle up to speed.  It had been sitting idle for several years and needs a good bit of TLC.  Cash donations are needed to pay for tags, title fees, insurance, and the purchase loan.  Secondly, Matt could use manpower to assist in maintenance and repairs (electrical, buffing, painting, muffler repair, etc.).

We are so grateful to The Lord for providing this new addition to the ministry.  It will be a great multi-purpose tool for both RWCF and Bikers for Christ events.  You can find more pictures in the PHOTO section of our website.

Hi Guys,
 
This is our new Rushing Wind Biker Church in Lomml, Belgium.
 
It is led by Pastor Louis.
 
You can see Annick (our BFC deaconess) reading them a letter from me.
 
God is doing some very cool things in our ministry.  We are blessed and excited to see the Lord moving so powerfully.
